A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, has been a hallmark of the Christmas season since it was first published in 1843.

Join nationally acclaimed entertainer David Browning as he interprets this timeless tale as a one-man dramatic presentation in the person of Ebenezer Scrooge and 12 other characters from Dickens’ classic story. Performances will be held in the beautiful West Room of the historic Taylor House at Sabine Hill State Historic Site. Following the show guests will have the opportunity to meet with Mr. Browning and enjoy a sampling of Victorian era Christmas treats served from the historic kitchen at Sabine Hill. Please note, Sabine Hill is only accessible by stairs and only portable restroom facilities are available at this time. Sabine Hill State Historic Site is located at 2328 West G Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
